COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Feb 22nd Update:
We are pleased to be able to announce our plan to start operating again from 29th March in line with the schedule published by the government (see link above).
From 29th March: The current schedule is for groups of up to 6 or two households to be able to exercise in the outdoors. Accommodation will not be open yet and advice will be to minimise travel.
We expect that the most popular areas will be very busy during the first two weeks (Easter Holidays) so our activities will initially be selected to cover the quieter locations that provide those great wide open experiences. We already have quite a few bookings to reschedule from March so we will only be taking new bookings for private individuals/groups for these first two weeks.
From 12th April: Self catering accommodation and camping is due to open as well as outdoor hospitality. Group sizes for activities and travel guidance remains the same.
We will now return to running our full range of activities including open group bookings that individuals can book on in addition to private/bespoke bookings.
From 17th May: Larger groups will be able to meet in the outdoors and all accommodation can open.
We look forward to welcoming you back to our award winning activities throughout 2021.

myGuidedWalks is approved as "Good To Go" by Visit England.
Additional safety and hygiene measures are in place and some changes to recommended kit have been made. We continue to follow all social distancing guidance. All activities have been assessed and a number of changes made to enable us to be COVID-19 Secure. Some routes have been amended and new routes added to facilitate social distancing and avoid the busiest times or locations. We have also completed an additional 2 days of wilderness first aid training including how to deliver first aid during COVID-19.
We are sensitive to the impact on local rural communities and on the Mountain Rescue teams (see their statement here) hence our approach to avoid the busiest times/locations where possible and ensuring that levels of risk are minimised.
If you wish to discuss changing any aspect of your booking, or discuss a new booking please contact us at any time. We will aim to make changes wherever possible to ensure you are completely happy with all arrangements. If you are from one of the vulnerable groups, we can talk with you about how we can deliver an experience you feel happy to book.
If you wish to read more about COVID-19 in the outdoor setting please read this article by Professor Ian Hill and the BMC.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
