My name is Paul Smith and I run myGuidedWalks and lead the activities.
My aim is to share my enthusiasm and love for walking and exploring nature in the outdoors, hills and mountains. I hold Mountain Leader, outdoor first aid and Gold DofE Assessor qualifications. Navigation and photography are two of my other passions and I get a real sense of achievement through passing my knowledge and skills on to other people.
Safety and quality have always been core to everything I do and how I operate. I'll do the hard work of planning the hikes, navigating and looking after the group. I will share a wealth of knowledge from over 25 years of leading guided walks, including the best routes and hidden places, as well as the local flora, fauna and history of the area. You'll also get a free digital photo album of pictures taken during your activity.
myGuidedWalks only operate small groups to ensure you have the best experience possible. Based in the Peak District National Park where most of the guided walks take place, we can also offer hiking and navigation activities in Snowdonia, the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales.
